Prepare all the veggies. For all of mine I used 1 cucumber, ¾ pound crab, 1 avocado, 2 carrots and 1 bunch asparagus. I had a lot of leftover veggies for the juicer the next day!
Cucumber: Cut in half and get rid of the seeds. Then slice thinly or use a Julienne Peeler.
Avocado: Slice.
Carrots: I peeled them and then used a Julienne Peeler.
Asparagus: Cut off the bottom half to ¾.
Steam the carrots and asparagus for 2-5 minutes.
Place a nori sheet on the rolling mat. Wet the whole thing with a damp paper towel. Do a layer of rice, followed by whatever you would like to put in the roll! Then roll it. It is hard to explain the proper rolling technique - I recommend googling it and watching a video.
Place the roll on a cutting board. With a very sharp knife slice the roll.

You will also need a sushi rolling mat. I bought mine from Amazon.
